ARC Raiders Matchmaking Is Back (That Was Fast)

ARC Raiders Matchmaking Fixed After Recent Issues

Staring at a loading screen while my trigger finger goes numb was not how I planned to spend my week with ARC Raiders.

Anyone who jumped into the Rust Belt over the past few days knows exactly what I mean. ARC Raiders matchmaking went from buttery smooth to completely broken overnight. Endless queue loops, frozen lobbies, and wait times so brutal that Alt-F4 became our only escape route. For a game that has been running like clockwork, this sudden server meltdown caught everyone off guard.

The Short-Lived Queue Nightmare : ARC Raiders Matchmaking

Things looked rough for a couple of days. Players across the board reported sitting in ARC Raiders queues for several minutes when matches normally launch in seconds. The system would freeze completely, trapping you in menu limbo while your teammates wondered if you rage-quit.

Getting my heart rate up before even loading into a match was never part of the plan. In an extraction shooter built around in-game tension, the last thing anyone expects is anxiety from the title screen.

Embark Squashed It Quickly

Credit where it is due, Embark Studios moved fast on this one. The developer confirmed that the backend issues responsible for these ARC Raiders server problems have been fully resolved. The turnaround was genuinely impressive. Servers were melting down one moment, and the next, everything was supposedly back online.

Honestly, I am just glad it is over. ARC Raiders delivers when everything clicks, but those few days of matchmaking chaos tested everyone’s patience. The coast is clear now, so the only thing slowing you down tonight should be your questionable loot decisions.
